Nearly 98% of respondents took pregnancy supplements when they were pregnant, or even before they were pregnant, with multivitamins, folic acid and calcium tablets being the most commonly consumed.


According to a survey, when choosing baby food, 51% of parents said that the most important thing was whether the nutritional content was complete or not, while 48% and 45% of parents said that they were most concerned about no-additive (no extra sugar and preservatives) and additional nutrients that could enhance the growth of their children respectively. Meanwhile, 49% of parents were also concerned about the flavor/taste factor.

 

High quality, not low price!

It is worth noting that parents are less sensitive to the price of baby food. According to the survey, only 16% of the respondents indicated that “price” was one of the first three factors to be considered, and “price” also ranked the lowest among all the factors. During the seminar, many parents agreed with the concept that “good quality products must be more expensive”, especially since there have been problems with food products in the Mainland, and therefore some parents still have the mentality of “preferring to buy expensive products rather than buying the wrong ones”.
